ST. JOHN'S NURSERY SCHOOL offers an organized educational environment that focuses on the development of the "whole" child. Our primary goal is to foster the social, emotional, and physical growth of each child. In addition, daily opportunities are provided for enrichment of the child's intellectual and perceptual selves. We encourage parent - teacher cooperation to promote growth at the individual child's rate. ST. JOHN'S follows a normal pre-school program; supervised free play, creative activities, story time, music, snack, circle time and field trips. THE CHURCH OF St. Johns on the Mountain is an Episcopal Parish. In addition to providing the school with its facilities, the church supports St. John's Nursery School in a number of ways. The school's curriculum while not religious in nature does include certain aspects of religious life including a blessing before snacks, and observance of various religious holidays. We welcome all students and their families to share their faith with the school regardless of religious affiliation. SCHEDULE OF CLASSES: School hours are 9:00 to 11:30 a.m. and 12:15 to 2:45 p.m. The school calendar basically follows that of the Bernardsville/Basking Ridge public schools. ENROLLMENT: Children who are 3 or 4 years of age by October 1st are eligible and are accepted without regard to race or religious affiliation.
