In this year of quarantine, the Thursday Foodwashing Rite of humility and servanthood will be replaced by an anthem sung by our Choir which will include photos of the ways we can serve each other. There will not be a foot washing.
Large monitors and high fidelity sound equipment allow those in-person to see and hear the prerecorded anthems.
Holy Bread (not wine) will be received by the Assembly pew by pew. Beginning with the front pew on the pulpit side, those wishing to receive will come forward by the middle aisle without kneeling, accept the Bread and (before consuming) immediately return to their pew by the side aisle.
During the last hymn, the sacrament will be taken to the garden of repose where we will observe a night-watch. All are welcome to return at any time throughout the night to sit and pray with Jesus in the garden.
